Levinthal • Wilkins Wins at Court of Appeals for Second Time in Three Weeks

Levinthal • Wilkins scored a second victory at the Texas Court of Appeals within a span of three weeks. Fresh off the heels of winning a full affirmance by the 14th Court of Appeals of a trial court verdict on behalf of a Houston oil trader suing a Delaware corporation, the firm took on the cause of a Korean executive who had been improperly sued in Texas, convincing the 1st Court of Appeals to affirm the trial court’s dismissal of the suit against the executive for lack of personal jurisdiction. This victory is the latest in a number of successful representations–at trial, on appeal, and in arbitration–Levinthal • Wilkins has had in the past year.

Descriptions of the results of previous representations are presented for informational purposes only. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Each matter is different.
